How a Polish nun became known as ‘mother of children’ in Senegal

In the Pulaar language, “Néné Soukabé” means “mother of children.” This name stuck to the Polish missionary, Sister Chrysologa Mnich SMCB, shortly after she opened a Сenter for malnourished children in the Senegalese town of Vélingara.
